Ion Paulica a debutat pentru London Irish

Pilierul roman a fost titular in meciul contra celor de la Saracens. Paulica a jucat 51 de minute. Echipa sa a pierdut cu 14 la 18 in fata a 60.000 de oameni.

London Irish strengthened its front row resources for the 2009-10 season by signing Paulica Ion, the Romanian prop forward, on a two year contract.

The 26-year-old joined from Bath Rugby where he played since 2007. He has been capped 16 times for Romania since making his debut against Argentina during the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

Paulica is a powerful front row operator who has proven his ability to compete with the best in the Guinness Premiership.
